Product & Function

How does the alarm work?

Vera Clocks feature a crescendo alarm that starts softly and gradually increases in volume. You can turn it off using the On/Off switch or press the Snooze/Light button to pause it.

Does the clock have a snooze function?

Yes. Press the Snooze/Light button while the alarm is ringing to pause it for about five minutes before it sounds again.

How accurate is the alarm setting?

The alarm setting accuracy is within ±5 minutes of the selected time (and typically even better). This is a normal tolerance for precision quartz alarm movements and ensures reliable performance over time.

Is the dial visible in the dark?

Yes. The hands and hour markers are luminous, and you can illuminate the dial by pressing the Snooze/Light button.

What type of movement is used in Vera Clocks?

Each Vera Clock is fitted with a high-quality, silent sweep quartz movement, carefully selected for its precision, reliability, and quiet operation. The “silent sweep” means that the hands move in a smooth and continuous motion, without the ticking sound found in most alarm clocks.

What kind of battery does the clock use?

Vera Clocks run on one AA battery. We recommend a high-quality alkaline battery. Do not use rechargeable batteries.

Design & Materials

Where are Vera Clocks made?

Each clock is designed, assembled, and tested by hand in Sweden.

What materials are used?

The main components are made of 316L stainless steel, with a solid brass dial and hands. The back is finished with premium Italian leather, and the dial is protected by hardened mineral glass.

Engraving & Personalization

Can I add a personal engraving?

Yes. You can personalize your Vera Clock with laser engraving directly on the product page and preview your text in real time before placing the order.

How long does engraving take?

Since all engraving is done in-house using precision laser equipment, we can process your order quickly and efficiently. In most cases, engraving does not delay the delivery time of your order.

Payments, Taxes & Duties

What payment methods do you accept?

We use Shopify Payments, which supports secure payments with all major credit and debit cards. Depending on your location, you can also pay using local options such as Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Shop Pay. This ensures a safe and seamless checkout experience wherever you are.

Do I have to pay customs duties or taxes when ordering from the United States?

No. All orders shipped to the United States are sent DDP (Delivered Duty Paid), meaning all customs duties, taxes, and import fees are already covered. You will not be charged any additional fees upon delivery.

Is VAT included in the price?

Yes. Prices include VAT for customers within the EU. For orders outside the EU (such as the USA), VAT is not applied at checkout.
