Welcome to Vera Clocks. By using our website and placing an order, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, as they are designed to protect both you as a customer and us as a company.


1. General Information

Vera Clocks is a premium brand owned by Writing Time AB, a Swedish company based in Stockholm. All products are designed and assembled in our Stockholm workshop with carefully selected materials.

2. Orders & Payment

  • All prices are displayed in SEK, EUR, or USD depending on your region. VAT is included where applicable.
  • When you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation. This confirmation represents our acceptance of your purchase.
  • We process payments securely through Shopify Payments, which supports major credit and debit cards as well as local payment methods depending on your region (e.g. Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Klarna, Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc.).
  • If a pricing error or stock issue occurs, we reserve the right to cancel the order. In such cases, you will be notified immediately and refunded in full.

3. Shipping & Delivery

  • All Vera Clocks products are dispatched the next business day from Stockholm.
  • Within Sweden, we ship with PostNord Service Point, normally delivered within 1–2 business days.
  • For international orders, we ship with UPS, with an estimated delivery time of 3–5 business days depending on destination.
  • Delivery is always free of charge regardless of destination.
  • For customers in the United States, Vera Clocks covers all customs duties and tariffs, so you will not incur any additional import costs.
  • Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with a tracking link to follow your delivery.

4. Returns & Refunds

We want you to feel fully satisfied with your Vera Clocks purchase. If for any reason you are not, we offer a 30-day return policy, and Vera Clocks will cover the return shipping cost regardless of the reason for the return.

  • You may return your order within 30 days from the day you receive it.
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned in their original packaging (including any accessories, manuals, and protective materials).
  • Please note: Products that have been engraved or customized are not eligible for return or refund.
  • To initiate a return, please contact us at hello@veraclocks.com with your order number. We will provide you with instructions for the return shipment.
  • Once we have received and inspected the returned product, we will process your refund to the original payment method within 5–10 business days.
  • If you receive a defective or incorrect item, please contact us immediately so we can arrange a free replacement or refund.

5. Privacy & Data Protection

At Vera Clocks, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This section explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a customer.

6. Warranty

All Vera Clocks products come with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. The warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship. Our commitment is to ensure that your clock functions as intended and meets the high standards of quality associated with the Vera Clocks brand.

What the warranty covers

  • Manufacturing defects in components or assembly.
  • Functional issues that arise despite normal, intended use of the product.

What the warranty does not cover

  • Normal wear and tear (such as scratches on leather or stainless steel surfaces).
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, or improper handling.
  • Modifications or repairs made by unauthorized parties.
  • Batteries, as they are considered consumable parts.

How to make a warranty claim

If you believe your product has a manufacturing defect:

  1. Contact us at hello@veraclocks.com with your order number, proof of purchase, and a clear description of the issue.
  2. Include photos or videos if possible, to help us assess the problem.
  3. We will review your claim and, if approved, provide instructions for returning the item.

If the product is deemed defective under the warranty, we will either repair the item, replace it with a new product, or issue a full refund. The choice of remedy is at Vera Clocks’ discretion.

Shipping costs for warranty claims

All shipping costs related to approved warranty claims will be covered by Vera Clocks. Customers will receive instructions and a prepaid return label to make the process as smooth as possible.

Additional notes

  • The warranty applies to the original purchaser only and is not transferable.
  • This warranty gives you specific legal rights. Depending on your country of residence, you may also have other statutory rights that apply in addition to these terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

Vera Clocks products are carefully designed and tested, but we cannot guarantee that they will always function without interruption or error.

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products. This includes, but is not limited to, financial losses, lost opportunities, or damages caused by missed events such as flights, meetings, or appointments due to product malfunction or user error.
  • Our total liability, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, is strictly limited to the purchase price of the product in question.
  • Nothing in these Terms & Conditions shall exclude or limit liability where prohibited by law, such as in cases of fraud, negligence causing personal injury, or other mandatory consumer protections.

8. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by Swedish law.

  • For customers within the EU, mandatory consumer protection laws of your country may also apply.
  • Any dispute that cannot be resolved directly between you as a customer and Vera Clocks will be referred to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) or to the competent court in Sweden.
  • By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you agree that Swedish courts will have jurisdiction over any dispute relating to your purchase, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law.
